Engine summary

Brand new as41 or super aluminum engine case, full oil modified and vented for maximum cooling and case pressure relief. All German main, rod and cam bearings. Completely measured, blue printed and set with only the best clearances to achieve long life and performance of your engine. Cb performance internals, crankshaft, rods, gears, ect. Topped with one of our specially selected camshafts and lifter sets. All engines will receive brand new 40x35 performance heads, stainless steel valves, hd springs, solid rockers and a true German oil cooler. Our oil pumps will be true German pumps either gene berg or CB performance, blueprinted and tested. 

We will only choose the most reliable and tested parts in our engines. Our personal air cooleds will push well over the 100k mark on a build with the proper maintenance and we strive for longevity over the newest coolest fads. 

Both the 1904 and 1848 are our favorite plug and play designs, They are easy to install and no different maintenance then a new built 1600.These 2 engines are very similar in power, were they differ is the drivability. The 1904 is a little more fun off of the light and the 1848 is a little more power in the mid range.

The 1848cc Is the modern go to for easy power and drivability. This engine is equipped with thick wall cylinders allowing it the same if not better cooling then stock. Engine is set up to run without an external cooler so it can easily be installed like factory. Preferably set up with dual 34 or 40mm carbs but can be ordered with a stock style carb.

1904cc

The 1904cc is just the big brother to a 1776, same bore is used yet the crank is upgraded to a Stroker 74mm. Same reliability as your old 1776 with way more low end torque. Engine is set up to run without an external cooler so it can easily be installed like factory. Preferably set up with dual 34 or 40mm carbs but can be ordered with a stock style carb.

1968cc

The 1968 cc is a little bit of both adding the thick wall 92s from the 1848 and the 74mm from the 1904. This makes for a great performing mini stroker with lots of trouble free power under its sleek coat. Best to run with dual 34 or 40mm carbs. Leaving a lot on the table with single carb set ups.

All of our turn key engines come with custom fitted engine tin, this is a very painful process. Hoover bit, custom stainless hard wear, std 65amp alt and stand, custom preset MSD style electronic ignition set, Blue printed carbs, jetting and engine break in.

Here we will highlight some of the big kid engines. The same great reliability as our smaller engines but with the extra umph. For the guys that want to hit the streets hot. These engines will require a full flow oil system cooler and filter installed on the vehicle.

Solid rockers; 1.4 Cb rockers for full performance builds and a true German oil cooler. Custom ADM full flow to fit any engine compartment including bay window and type 3. Topped with a gene berg pressure relief pump cover to insure you don’t blow a filter

The 2180 is my favorite big boy bus engine, also, a blast in a street car. 82mm stroke and thick wall 92 cylinders for enough torque to pull you around any mountain, loads of fun. Stacked with 40mm carbs and 40x35 heads for max torque. feels like a rocket coming off the line.

The 2276 is a classic in the Vw world and for good reason. The all around power and drivability is incredible. Capable fast top end power yet not very much low end loss. The 94mm cylinders have about a 10% shorter life span than the thick wall 90 and 92s but my personal bus is still running strong at over 50,000 miles, so lots of life.
